Here’s my favorite link from last time:

Carolyn of Wise Owl Factory shared a recipe for Cari bucane from Reunion Island, as told to her by a friend who had lived there.  She’s provided links to moer information on the beautiful island, and even ideas to keep toddler busy while Mom is making this meal.  I love that the ingredients are easy to source.  I already have the ingredients we don’t already have written on my grocery list for our next big shop.

I saw this a long time ago but it didn’t “register” with me. Wonderful! Thanks!

Your recipe has been made here in Northern Ireland by us, as well as in Canada by my parents!
We’ll definitely be making it over again as it’s now a part of our family cook book 🙂
