Welcome to our third guest-host of Mom’s Library Free Resources with True Aim Education. I am thrilled to be back again! Here you can find children’s activities, crafts, games, recipes, and more; shared across the web by some fantastic bloggers.
There were so many great ideas submitted last week, and here are a couple of my personal favourites that I think are great ideas leading up to Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2nd. I’ve always loved Dr. Seuss, and my children do as well. In fact we’ve had several of his books borrowed from the library over the past couple of weeks. We are currently reading the classic, “Green Eggs and Ham”. Here are some neat ideas on how to bring some of his other books to life.
Fantastic Fun and Learning has shared an photograph matching activity for the book “The Shape of Me and Other Stuff”. It looks like a fun way for children to explore the world around them.
Making Boys Men has had some creative fun making these “Cat in The Hat” peg dolls. These will make for a fun story bag that can be used on its own as well.
Preschool Powol Packets has chosen three books and does an activity or snack with each. “The Foot Book”, “Bartholomew and the Ooblek”, and “The Cat in The Hat”. Each of these activities are very tactile and colourful!
