To brighten up this dreary day, I thought it was time that I share some more homeschooling deals for the months of February and March. These are all the deals I currently know about, but as I discover new homeschool savings over the next month, I’ll add them here, so please make a note in your calendar to check back for new deals.

Pandemic Unit Study
Homeschool Planet and Pandia Press are offering a FREE Pandemic Unit Study curriculum and lesson plans (that are so simple to add to your Homeschool Planet Planner). My children are about half way through this 94-page unit study. They’ve watched videos, read lessons and news articles about the 1918 Spanish Flu, the Black Plague, and at this moment are working on a tasty science experiment to learn about bacteria.
If you’re not already familiar with Homeschool Planet, it’s my absolute favourite planner hands-down! There isn’t anything it can’t do (read my reviews for just some of the ways it can be used). Try it out free for 30 days.
Once you harness the power of Homeschool Planet, then see if your favourite curricula have partnered up with them and you can purchase the lesson plan (not the curriculum) and have it automatically schedule the classes for you – we’ve used a few of these with great success.

With the 2020 Summer Olympics (hopefully) taking place in Japan this year, it’s a great time for you and your students to learn some Japanese. JapanesePod makes it easy with lessons and a word of the day send directly to you inbox too.
Forbrain (40% discount)
It’s hard to explain exactly what Forbrain is and how it works…but it definitely works! We always know when our children need a ‘top up’ or repeat Forbrain program – how do we know? When they become unfocussed and they don’t complete their daily homeschool work in a timely manner. When their reading aloud sessions become choppy and difficult to follow. After a repeat of using Forbrain for a few weeks again, there is a huge difference – the homework is completed and they have some free time, and reading aloud becomes a pleasure to listen to. There also aren’t near as many uhms and ughs in their conversations. You can read our review from the first time we used this program here. This month – use the discount code 3B8304462 for 40% off!
My Teaching Library
My Teaching Library has thousands of instant downloads for all grades across so many subjects. You can purchase the lessons individually, but you’ll see that a yearly or lifetime subscription will save you cartloads of cash in no time! You can read our full review of this product here.
Thinkwell Homeschool Math
Thinkwell has math programs from grade 6 to high school that includes regular classes, as well as Honors and Essential courses.
Thinkwell can be used as either a primary math program, working your way through every lesson, one at a time. Alternatively, it can also be used as a supplement to improve those areas in which a student may be faltering and those areas not taught in your usual curriculum.
Audible has become my favourite companion over the past year. I listen to audio books while out walking as well as before I go to sleep. Non-fiction, mysteries, humorous, and inspirational content are my main go-tos. I’ve also picked up a couple of titles for homeschool English class in their frequent sales! Sign up for a free 30-day trial and see what they have to offer. Click on the image for more info.
I love to listen to music as I work, and the kids do, too! I just found out about Prime Music and all that’s available on it (Phil has a subscription he’s kept quiet about until this week). Why take up more space with discs when you can stream?
Grocery Budget Makeover
Do you need a Grocery Budget Makeover? I know after the price rises of this year, I could use a refresher. Head on over to see all the great deals Erin Chase has!
And that’s it for this month, although I do know that there will be a few more homeschool deals coming up before the end of the month, so follow us on Facebook to stay in the know, and if you know of any additional home ed deals, let me know and I’ll add them here, too!
