Hole In One (Egg in Toast)

March 9, 2012 by Crystal McClean

Way back ‘when I was young’, I remember going with my best friend and her family to their northern cottage near a lake in the forest.  I had such a great time there and fondly recall her parents singing and dancing in the kitchen while making breakfast.  It was tradition that he would make his famous hole in one breakfast once during the trip.  I wasn’t so keen on eggs at the time, but I did enjoy this interesting hole-in-one breakfast.

Next have a little fun if you’d like to start the day off with a giggle.

Put the slice of bread into the lightly oiled, hot pan and Crack an egg and drop it into the hole.

When it’s browned on one side, carefully flip it over and cook the other side.  You can also fry up the hole as well if you’d like.
