Travel Games For Kids on Mom’s Library

We’ve hit the midway point of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere!  What have you been doing?  Have you or will you be travelling with your young ones?  This past week we’ve done a couple of day trips to a nearby beach as well as to a seaside resort.  I’m glad we took advantage of the fine weather last week, as this week’s forecast isn’t as agreeable, but we still have some outdoor activities planned closer to home.

Are your children good travellers, content at looking out the window and watching the world go by?  Or do they need a little more stimulation to keep them occupied on the road.  I’ve collected up the best ideas from last week’s Mom’s Library for you in one place.  This week the theme is Travel Games for Kids!

Games to play with 3 year olds

Every Star is Different has come up with 24 fun ways to get some exercise.  Though not specifically for travel, you could adapt a lot of these ideas to use during rest stops, lay-overs, and at the end of the day for kids to get their wiggles out and tire themselves for a good night’s rest.

Oh, traveling without such plans is very difficult. How did we travel before blog posts and such great sharing? I’m sure there are fewer tears with these fun activities. Thank you!
