Have you heard of The Enchanted Homeschooling Mom’s (EHM) Member’s Only Website? Maybe you’ve seen her affiliate button on blog sites such as my own? Do you know what the EHM Member’s Only site is about? I’m here to let you have a special peek into the Member’s Only room!
Jill has granted me an EHM Member’s Only Website membership, and I am pleased to be able to review the EHM Member’s Only website for you today. Jill is also offering one lucky reader a life-time membership to her site!
The Enchanted Homeschooling Mom’s Member’s Only website is full of educational printables right from Pre-kindergarten to the 5th grade, and these will grow as Jill’s children grow. There are over 260 items there at this moment, and there’s no sign of Jill slowing down. The EHM Member’s only website has just completed a re-design last week and I love the new look!
The 260+ educational printables are organised by general topic, and then alphabetically. Next to each printables title is a coloured asterisk that corresponds with the approximate grade level (this however, is only a general guide as some children will be further ahead or behind, and Jill makes these printables for her own children’s abilities first). Some of the printables are seasonal, or are short lessons or units. Other packs are year-long curriculums, and these are conveniently listed together.
New products are added frequently; in the past two weeks, I’ve seen at least three products added, just off the top of my head, but I know there have been more. After you’ve become a member you can receive email updates about new products so that you don’t miss anything. If you’d like to see a list of her current printables, you can view her catalogue by clicking here. The catalogue is down the right-hand column.
The Enchanted Homeschooling Mom’s Member’s Only website is outstanding value at only $15.00USD for all of the printables Jill has created both in the past and into the future.
An example of the unit studies we’ve been working on are:
The “All About My Homeschooling Family” unit. I printed this off a few months ago, but to tell the truth it had been misplaced while I was painting our home, and it’s finally been found (yeah!) Tristan is completing a page every few days now. This unit is something your child could do every year or two to see how far they have come and how their interests have changed. I love this particular pack because there are so many back-to-school/about me units around, but this one is particular to homeschoolers.
The “Fire Safety Activity Pack” is another unit we’ve been working on recently. It fit right in with The World Police And Fire Games theme in our household this month! In fact, Tristan and Kallista did some work on it during their train journeys into Belfast. They ducked down when they saw my camera, but behind Tristan is a WPFG competing team from Italy!
Tristan has also done some math from the Superheroes pack (you should have seen his face when he saw that one!), as well as other bits from here and there.
Some of the new year-long curriculums that Jill has released are:
“History Rocks Curriculum” parts 1 & 2 focus on lots of famous people in history and what made them famous. The activities for each person vary, but after exploring their contribution to society, there may be additional books to read, movies to watch, experiments, crosswords, or math games, for example. The list of people covered is vast and ranges from the Albert Einstein to Stevie Wonder.
The “Weather Detective” Curriculum is the pack that our home had been waiting for! Tristan has been asking so many questions about the weather this year, and now he is finding out all about it! We have already completed the unit on Thunder and Lightening, and next we’ll be exploring the atmosphere. There are 12 units within this curriculum, and they can be used in any order. Be sure to follow me as I will be doing a more complete review on this curriculum in the future.
Jill knows her stuff, and you may remember her name as the author of “How To Succeed as An Educational Printable Business”, where she spoke about her experiences of setting up her business and gave us all her insight and procedures about how to go about setting up our own printables business. Now one lucky reader will be able to see the printables behind the book. And if you have any suggestions on printables you would like to see, Jill is also open to requests!
